There are many styles and traditions of Hawaiian Hula, and we should all be proud of our own training. Probably the hardest lesson of hula is the simplest:

Please be tolerant and accepting of the methods and styles of all your fellow hula dancers and teachers. The love of hula is our uniting bond, and everyone can share equally in the pleasure it brings.
